Dial an Order
Your assistant answers the phone. Now it takes the order.
Dial an Order is an add-on for your Phone Call Desk assistant. It takes orders from your menu, or books cars on your tariff, takes the payment or holds the fare, and sends each one to your kitchen or your controller. No commission: the customer, and the order, stay yours.
Dial an Order is not a standalone service. It is an add-on for Phone Call Desk subscribers on Growth or above, switched on inside the workspace you already have — on the same number, with the same assistant. It is not available on Starter.
Takeaways £49 a month and 20p an order; private hire £79 a month and 10p a booking, ex-VAT, added to an assistant plan from Growth. In early access: ask below.
How it fits
An add-on to the assistant you already have
Dial an Order cannot be bought on its own. It is switched on inside a Phone Call Desk workspace, so there is nothing else to sign up to, install or connect.
An add-on, not a separate service
It runs on your Phone Call Desk workspace — the same number, the same assistant, the same subscription and the same rules as everything else we do. The calls are your plan's minutes.
Growth or above
It needs an assistant plan of Growth (£119 a month, 500 minutes included), Practice or Enterprise. Not Starter: its single line cannot carry a busy Friday or a Saturday night.
One trade per workspace
A takeaway's callers order food; a private-hire firm's callers book a car. A workspace is set up for one or the other — a business that runs both needs a workspace for each.
Choose your trade
Two trades, one add-on
The same terms for both. The detail on each, and where to ask for early access, are on the Dial an Order website.

Questions
Short answers
Is Dial an Order a separate service?
No. It is an add-on to a Phone Call Desk assistant, switched on inside your workspace, on the same number and with the same assistant. It cannot be bought on its own: there is no Dial an Order without a Phone Call Desk plan underneath it.
Which assistant plan do I need?
Growth (£119 a month, 500 minutes included), Practice or Enterprise. Not Starter: it has a single line, and a Friday or a Saturday night needs more than one. The calls are your plan's minutes; Dial an Order adds its own monthly fee and a fee for each order or booking.
Can one workspace do takeaways and private hire?
No. A workspace is set up for one trade or the other, so a caller is never asked whether they want food or a car. A business that runs both needs a Phone Call Desk workspace for each.
What does it cost?
Takeaways: £49 a month and 20p for each order your kitchen receives. Private hire: £79 a month and 10p for each booking your firm receives. Both ex-VAT, on top of your assistant plan, plus 1.5%, at least 20p on each payment taken online, which Stripe takes on the way to your own account.
Does the assistant take card numbers?
Never. It texts the caller a link to Stripe's own page, and they pay on their phone. A card number read aloud would end up in a transcript; ours never do.
Is it on sale?
It is in early access: we switch it on for each business ourselves, and nothing is charged for it until it goes on sale. Ask below.
